One Thing I Do Everyday

Yes, make my bed! First off, this blog is not about perfection, but I do believe there are a few simple daily routines you can get in the habit of to make your home a peaceful haven. My grandmother told my mother that if your beds are made your house will appear neat, even if it isn't actually clean. This is a principle I follow. I usually make the beds first thing in the morning. I've found a good time to make my bed is when I'm waiting for the water to get hot in the shower. It probably takes less than two minutes, but what a difference for my frame of mind to see a crisply made bed. Give it a try!
